Plans at a glance

Zoho’s comparison page also lists a Starter edition, but it showed no US dollar price when we checked. Check current price if you’re considering it.

Which edition fits

  • Free: one to three people tracking leads in a single pipeline, with no need for custom fields or reports.
  • Standard: small teams that need more than one pipeline, a few custom dashboards and scoring rules. This is where most small businesses start paying.
  • Professional: teams that want unlimited reports, automatic lead assignment and Blueprint, Zoho’s tool for enforcing a set sales process step by step.
  • Enterprise: businesses that want Zia, Zoho’s AI assistant, with prediction models, plus approval processes, custom modules and test sandboxes.
  • Ultimate: larger or data-heavy teams that need the highest limits. Few small businesses need it.

If you can’t decide between Standard and Professional, start on Standard. Zoho lets you upgrade, and you’ll know within a few months whether you’re missing assignment rules or reports.

What you’ll actually pay

A 3-person business on Standard. Three users at $14 is $42 a month, or $504 a year on annual billing. On monthly billing it’s $60 a month.

A 3-person business on Professional. Three users at $23 is $69 a month, or $828 a year billed annually.

A 10-person business on Standard. Ten users at $14 is $140 a month, or $1,680 a year billed annually.

A 10-person business on Professional. Ten users at $23 is $230 a month, or $2,760 a year billed annually. On monthly billing that rises to $350 a month.

A 10-person business on Enterprise. Ten users at $40 is $400 a month, or $4,800 a year billed annually.

For comparison, ten seats on HubSpot Sales Hub Professional cost $10,800 a year billed annually before its $1,500 onboarding fee, per HubSpot’s own pricing guide. That gap is the main reason small businesses shortlist Zoho. See HubSpot pricing explained for that side.

Hidden costs and add-ons

  • Monthly billing. Paying month to month costs about 25–52% more than annual billing, depending on the edition.
  • Taxes. Zoho states that local taxes such as VAT or GST are charged on top of listed prices.
  • Storage. Record storage depends on the edition. The free edition holds 5,000 records and Standard holds 100,000. Zoho sells extra file storage, but its page listed that price only in rupees when we checked, so check current price in US dollars.
  • Every user needs a license. There’s no shared login. Part-time staff who need access still count.
  • Setup and migration. Zoho is flexible, which means more settings. Many businesses pay a partner to configure pipelines, import data and build automations.
  • Other Zoho apps. Email, invoicing and help desk are separate Zoho products unless you buy the Zoho One bundle.

Is the free plan enough?

For up to three people tracking leads and deals, it can be. You get 3 users and 5,000 records with no time limit.

You’ll likely upgrade when:

  • You need a custom field, report or dashboard. The free edition has none.
  • You hit the email notification cap of 50 per user license or 150 a day.
  • You need more than one pipeline. Multiple pipelines start on Standard.
  • A fourth person needs access.

If you want the simplest possible Zoho tool, Bigin is Zoho’s lighter CRM. Its free plan is 1 user and 500 records, and its Express plan is $7 per user per month billed annually. See Best free CRM software for all the free options.

Cheaper alternatives

Zoho CRM is already one of the lower-priced full CRMs. Options that cost less, or that suit a different style of selling, as of October 2026:

ToolStarting paid price (annual)Who it suits
Bigin Express$7 per user/monthVery small teams wanting a simple pipeline
HubSpot Starter$20 per seat/month list (discounts running)Teams that value ease of use over depth
Pipedrive Lite$14 per seat/monthSales teams who live in the pipeline view

Our take

Zoho CRM gives small businesses a lot of CRM for the money, especially on annual billing. Standard covers most teams’ first year, and Professional at $23 per user is far below what comparable automation costs elsewhere. The catch is learning time: Zoho has more settings than HubSpot or Pipedrive, and a messy setup is the most common reason it disappoints. If you already use other Zoho apps, compare the CRM price against the Zoho One bundle. Our Zoho CRM review covers the day-to-day experience, and Get it set up can configure it for you.

Questions people ask

Most small teams start on Standard for multiple pipelines and dashboards, or Professional if they need unlimited reports, assignment rules and Blueprint processes. Enterprise mainly adds Zia AI features and higher limits.

Is Zoho One better value than Zoho CRM?

It can be if you’d also pay for Zoho’s email, books, desk or other apps. Zoho One bundles them, but the price depends on whether you license every employee or only some users, so get a quote and compare it against CRM alone.

Does Zoho CRM charge an onboarding fee?
